Mourinho Confirms €96m Player’s Deal Is As Good As Done

Friday 23 March 2018

In his bid to find a perfect striker who could help Alexis Sanchez settle down in the team, Manchester United manager José Mourinho has reportedly accepted to pay a huge sum of £80million for Real Madrid striker Gareth Bale in the summer.

Reports emanating from Old Trafford via the Mirror suggests that the Portuguese manager has told David De Gea about his speculated agreement with the Spanish giants over the player’s switch to the Red Devils ahead of next season.

Bale has found it hard to establish himself at Santiago Bernabeu after completing his £85million switched to Zinedine Zidane’s side from Tottenham in 2013. His lack of regular action isn’t due to loss of form but his recurring injuries which have limited him to being a fringe player for the Santiago Bernabeu outfits.

Many pundits have criticized Madrid’s training method for the player’s injury woes and he has been advised to end his five-year stay with the La Liga giants in the summer if he wishes to return back to his usual best before he put an end to his career.

United are looking to bolster their squad in the summer ahead of the 2018-19 season and Mourinho is hoping to bring the Welsh striker back to Premier League in the summer.

Madrid could fail to release the player unless they acquire the services of Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, who has reportedly agreed to join the Galacticos after the summer World Cup in Russia.
