Manchester United head-coach Jose Mourinho has reportedly earmarked Arsenal playmaker Aaron Ramsey as a possible transfer target for the upcoming transfer window.
The news will come as a huge blow for Chelsea who has recently linked with a move for the Gunners playmaker as a possible replacement for Cesc Fabregas.
The Red Devils are expected to be in the market for a new midfielder with Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick are likely to leave the club after the end of the season.
The Portuguese manager has also reportedly fallen out with Paul Pogba following a string of unconvincing performances which have resulted in the France international being left out of the starting lineup for United’s last three games.
The 27-year-old midfielders current deal at the Emirates Stadium expires after the season ends but players has himself revealed that there has been no progress in the negotiations over a contract extension.
