LeBron James bounced back from a horrible Finals.

Friday, 16 February 2018

Former Raptors and Heat All-Star Chris Bosh joined First Take Thursday and said that he believes losing the NBA Finals to the Mavericks in 2011 was one of the best things that happened to the Miami super team.

The Heat responded by winning back-to-back championships, and LeBron James bounced back from a horrible first Finals performance to win two consecutive regular-season and Finals MVP awards.

Bosh, who also said that his playing career may not be over, said he’s “amazed” by what his former teammate is doing in his 15th season.

“He’s figured out a lot of things. He was able to go from… that point where you don’t know how to get it done, and then you do. And now it’s all about sustaining it.

And I mean, you look at his production, you look at his physique, his body, and just the way he’s going out there and competing every night…. It’s not stopping. I’m amazed, you know, truly, [at] just what he’s able to do.

He’s at that age where everybody’s waiting on the decline, and he continues to go up. Just that alone, I think that puts him in the realm of greatest to ever do it. Just him being able to have his body sustain that wear and tear. He doesn’t miss a lot of games, and he’s going to the Finals.”
